MA Lighting MA2 Lite

The MA Lighting grandMA2 Lite is a scaled-down version of the grandMA2 Full-Size, providing powerful and comprehensive lighting control capabilities in a more compact and portable format. Designed for medium to large productions, the MA2 Lite offers nearly all of the same advanced features as its bigger counterpart but in a streamlined form, making it an ideal choice for lighting professionals who need the robust control capabilities of the grandMA2 series in a more travel-friendly package. From live concerts and theater productions to corporate events and TV broadcasts, the MA2 Lite excels in environments requiring high-level lighting control.

The grandMA2 Lite console supports up to 4,096 control parameters natively, with the possibility of expanding the number of universes using external MA hardware. Like the Full-Size version, the MA2 Lite supports a wide variety of control protocols, including DMX, Art-Net, MA-Net2, and sACN, ensuring seamless integration with a broad range of lighting systems and equipment. With its ability to manage 64 DMX universes, the MA2 Lite is perfectly suited for large lighting setups, offering more than enough capacity for complex shows involving many different fixtures and effects.

In terms of hardware, the grandMA2 Lite is designed for efficiency without sacrificing performance. It features 15 motorized playback faders, 6 physical DMX outputs, and 2 built-in touchscreens, allowing for easy navigation and access to a wide range of controls. In addition, the console includes an external screen output, which can be used to connect additional monitors for more screen space, a feature appreciated by many lighting designers who prefer to view multiple control windows at once. The MA2 Lite also includes 20 physical playback buttons and 8 rotary encoders, providing tactile control for programming, effects, and live playback.

The grandMA2 software, which powers the MA2 Lite, is among the most advanced and widely used in the lighting industry, offering extensive features for programming, playback, and show control.
