The RCF HDL 20-A is a professional-grade active line array module designed for both touring and fixed installation environments where high power and reliable coverage are needed. It features two 10-inch neodymium woofers and a 3-inch high-frequency compression driver with a 2-inch throat, offering an extended frequency response from 55 Hz to 20 kHz. The system is bi-amped with a built-in 1,400-watt peak (700W RMS) Class-D amplifier that delivers impressive SPL output up to 135 dB. Built-in DSP allows for a range of user-selectable presets that optimize the system’s performance depending on the venue and application—options include indoor, high-curving, cluster, and HF projection correction settings. All of this is housed in a durable composite enclosure reinforced with wood, designed to be lightweight while standing up to the rigors of live use.
The HDL 20-A is designed for quick deployment and flexible rigging. Its integrated flyware allows for secure and easy installation in flown or ground-stacked configurations. A consistent 100° horizontal dispersion ensures even coverage, while the vertical directivity of 15° per box enables accurate array shaping. The onboard DSP also handles crossover, EQ, phase alignment, and system protection such as thermal, RMS, and soft-limiting. PowerCON connectors are used for both input and output, making daisy-chaining systems fast and reliable. The cabinet includes rear panel angle adjustment options, making it easier to achieve the correct splay angle in flown arrays.
