The Meyer Sound PANTHER is a self-powered linear line array engineered for peak power without the weight that usually comes with it. Thanks to a groundbreaking ultralight Class D amplifier design and new driver technologies, PANTHER delivers the same impressive output as competitive line arrays in a much lighter package. No other line array comes close to matching its remarkable output of over 150 dB in a compact cabinet weighing only 150 lb (68 kg). It delivers the unrivaled linearity and headroom that are only achievable with a self-powered system, so the mix stays clean and accurate at any level, whether the system is serving a festival field or a corporate boardroom.

In the hands of a designer, PANTHER is as versatile as it is powerful. The PANTHER family offers three coverage patterns, 80°, 95°, and 110° horizontal, so coverage can be tailored precisely to each application. A unique placement of low-mid transducers and an optimized high horn create a controlled cardioid polar pattern at low frequencies in arrays of four units and longer, and that cardioid pattern stays consistent at all SPL levels, even when pushed into limiting, without any additional user settings. That means the audience hears every note with no unwanted reflections or stage spill. The low-frequency response is optimized to pair with the entire Meyer Sound LFC line, with the 2100-LFC as the natural companion, and inputs include analog XLR plus a Milan-certified AVB endpoint that brings a digital audio-over-IP signal path directly into the cabinet and provides a clear path to tomorrow’s digital platforms.

On the practical side, Meyer Sound PANTHER is built to make life easier wherever it gets flown. Its high-efficiency amplification package cuts power draw by 20% compared to earlier technologies, drastically reducing both operating expenses and environmental impact, while the compact, lightweight cabinet means quicker load-in and load-out, fewer trucks, and more efficient packing.
