Meyer Sound Lina

Meyer Sound Lina is a compact, self-powered linear line array loudspeaker designed for high-fidelity sound reinforcement in smaller venues or as part of larger distributed systems. It represents Meyer Sound’s effort to bring the linear performance and low distortion characteristics of their larger LEO family systems into a smaller footprint, roughly 20 inches wide and weighing about 43 lb per cabinet. Its three-channel Class D amplification and internal DSP deliver consistent, linear response across a wide dynamic range, making it suitable for everything from speech and classical to rock and EDM.

What sets LINA apart is its power-to-size ratio and versatility. Despite its compact dimensions, it can reach high peak sound pressure levels (up to around 138 dB) with very low distortion, thanks to dual 6.5-inch long-excursion low-frequency drivers paired with a 3-inch compression high-frequency driver. The system is optimized for uniform coverage and phase coherence when multiple cabinets are arrayed, and its self-powered design eliminates the need for external amplifier racks — simplifying setup and reducing gear load for touring or install applications.

LINA also integrates smoothly with Meyer Sound’s rigging and system tools. It uses QuickFly rigging with captive GuideALinks for consistent and easy array construction, and is compatible with Meyer Sound’s GALAXY loudspeaker management and MAPP design software, which help fine-tune performance and predict coverage. For deeper bass, LINA is often paired with low-frequency control elements (like Meyer Sound’s 750-LFC or 900-LFC subs), giving flexible system building from simple fill arrays to fully capable main PA systems in small-to-mid-sized venues.
