MA2 8 Port Node

The MA2 8 Port Node, developed by MA Lighting, is a highly efficient Ethernet to DMX converter designed for extensive professional lighting systems. It is capable of handling the same number of DMX universes as a MA Network Processing Unit (NPU), offering eight DMX outputs. This makes it an ideal solution for locations that require the conversion of a large amount of DMX universes simultaneously. The connectivity of the node is facilitated through robust connectors including powerCON and etherCON, all situated at the rear to maintain a clean setup.

In terms of technical specifications, the MA2 8 Port Node supports a variety of networking protocols including MA-Net2, Art-Net, and sACN, which can operate over a 1Gbit/s connection. This versatility ensures that it can be integrated seamlessly into various configurations of the grandMA2 control systems. The node itself is built into a rugged steel housing, making it suitable for both touring and fixed installations. The unit also features a 2” color TFT display which aids in configuration and monitoring directly from the node.

For user convenience, the node is fully configurable from a grandMA2 console or grandMA2 onPC software. It can also be combined with other onPC command wing and fader wing units from MA Lighting, providing a scalable solution that can be adapted to a wide range of applications, from small events to large scale productions.
