RCF TT1-A Speaker

The RCF TT1-A is a compact, high-output active loudspeaker designed for professional touring and fixed installations where clarity, power, and flexibility are paramount. As part of RCF’s TT+ (Touring & Theatre) series, this model offers advanced DSP, bi-amplified Class-D amplification, and rugged build quality in a relatively lightweight cabinet. The TT1-A is well-suited as a main PA speaker in smaller venues, fill speaker in larger systems, or part of distributed sound deployments for corporate, theatrical, or live music applications. Despite its modest footprint, it delivers impressive sound reinforcement performance on par with much larger systems.

At the heart of the TT1-A lies a proprietary twin-driver configuration: a high-performance 10-inch woofer paired with a rotatable 1.4-inch titanium compression driver mounted on a novel waveguide horn. This design provides controlled 90° horizontal dispersion and 60° vertical coverage, offering precise sound projection and consistency across the listening area. The built-in bi-amplified Class-D power amplifiers supply upwards of 1000 W RMS per channel, delivering clean, distortion-free sound at high SPLs. These components, combined with ferrofluid cooling in the tweeter throat, ensure reliable thermal performance even under extended use and demanding load conditions.

One of the standout features of the TT1-A is its integrated DSP platform and network control capabilities. The onboard digital signal processing provides a suite of tools including crossovers, EQ, phase alignment, time delay, compression, limiting, and driver protection. These DSP tools are accessible remotely via RCF’s RDNet network, allowing fine-tuning of sound in situ from FOH or remote control points—a critical capability for touring productions and installations with variable acoustics or zoning requirements. This level of remote control, combined with memory presets, ensures consistent tuning across different venues. The TT1-A can also be synced for multi-speaker setups, automatically optimizing alignment and performance.

Constructed in a rugged birch plywood enclosure with a durable weather-resistant finish, the TT1-A is designed to withstand the rigors of road life. It features multiple M10 rigging points and threaded inserts, allowing for flown or truss-mounted configurations, and multiple ergonomic handles for ease of handling. With a manageable weight of approximately 23 kg (50 lb), it balances portability with resilience. Input options include analog XLR, AES3 digital, and EtherCON for RDNet integration.
