L-Acoustics K2 Package

Each K2 is a three-way active WST® enclosure with a dual 12-inch low end, four 6.5-inch midrange drivers, and two high-output 3-inch compression drivers feeding a DOSC® waveguide — quad-amplified for tight control from 35 Hz to 20 kHz and a peak output of 147 dB. Horizontal directivity is selectable across 70°, 90°, and 110° via PANFLEX™ fins, while each element adds roughly 10° of vertical coverage, so the beam stays coherent over the long throws a crowd this size demands. At just 56 kg (123 lb) per element and built in a weather-resistant, IP55-rated cabinet, the K2 is the kind of element that gets flown week after week: light to rig, rugged for the road, and consistent from element to element.

Behind the array, the three LA-RAK II AVB racks do the heavy lifting. Each is a flyable 9U touring rack that internally pre-wires three LA12X amplified controllers (12 channels per rack), two LS10 AVB switches, and dedicated signal and power distribution panels, making the whole rack a self-contained, plug-and-play unit. Every LA12X is a four-channel Class D controller rated up to 3,300 W per channel (2,600 W @ 4 Ω, 1,400 W @ 8 Ω) with dual 96 kHz SHARC DSP and L-DRIVE loudspeaker protection, and the dual LS10 switches provide Milan-AVB seamless dual-network redundancy — if one network path drops, audio keeps running. With three-phase 32 A IEC and 30 A NEMA power inputs and a 101.5 kg (223.8 lb) all-in weight per rack, the LA-RAK II AVB is built to fly, stack, and cross-rent — making this a genuinely turnkey K Series package.
