ADJ ElectraPix Bar 8

The ADJ ElectraPix Bar 8 is a 0.5-meter battery-powered linear fixture that packs eight 20-watt hex color RGBAL+UV LEDs into a slim, IP65-rated housing, making it one of the most versatile pixel washes in its class. Each of the eight foreground LEDs is individually pixel controllable, giving designers full section-by-section control for chases, ripples, pixel animations, or full-bar washes, while thirty-two 0.2-watt RGB background LEDs add subtle ambience and edge fill that keeps the bar visible in the dark. The color-calibrated LED engine delivers true colors plus UV and an adjustable white range from 2,300K to 9,900K, so the bar can go anywhere from warm candlelight tones to crisp cool daylight without a separate white source. The 17-degree beam with 45mm lenses produces a clean, even output, and with an average LED life of 50,000 hours these fixtures are built to last through years of regular touring and rental use.

Power and control are where the ADJ ElectraPix Bar 8 really stands apart. The internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery (22.2V, 7,000mAh) delivers up to 20 hours of operation on a single charge, recharges in about 5 hours from AC power, and is rated for 500 charge cycles, which means the bar can be flown, mounted, or positioned anywhere without hunting for a power outlet. When wired power is available, the fixture draws only 60W and supports linking up to 15 units at 120VAC or 28 units at 230VAC, making it practical for longer linear runs and architectural looks. Control options include DMX512 with 11 channel modes, RDM and RDM Net, Bluetooth, on-board manual mode, the included UCIR24 wireless IR remote, and ADJ’s Aria X2 wireless DMX management system, so the bar fits into both simple and fully wireless rigging setups. Built-in foreground and background LED programs, six dim modes, four dim curves, selectable LED refresh rates up to 25K, and an electronic strobe round out the feature set.

Physically, the fixture measures 587mm long, 166mm wide, and 269mm deep, weighing just 7.8 kg, with an OLED status display, glare shield, diffusion filter slot, angle-adjustable feet, and an L-track system for locking rigging accessories. A horizontal slide lock lets you join additional ElectraPix Bar 8 or Bar 16 units into longer runs, and up to four bars can be mounted vertically on ADJ’s VFB1 floor base (sold separately). DMX connections use 5-pin outdoor-rated XLR in and out sockets for a sealed IP65 connection, and an outdoor locking power cable is included.
