The Ayrton Dreampanel Twins is a dual-sided hybrid moving-head luminaire that fuses two of Ayrton’s flagship imaging platforms into a single, continuously rotating package. One face carries the high-resolution DREAMPANEL SHIFT video array — 4,096 multi-chip RGB emitters on a 6 mm pitch delivering a 64 × 64 pixel matrix at 3,500 nits — while the opposite face houses the MAGICPANEL’s 8 × 8 creative array of 15-watt multi-chip LEDs, driven through patented 45 mm collimators that throw a tight 6° beam with a record centre-beam intensity of over 73 candela per lumen. Because the entire head spins on both pan and tilt axes with high-resolution stepper motors and automatic repositioning, the Dreampanel Twins can flip between crisp full-HD video content and dramatic 3D volumetric lighting effects without ever losing its position in the rig.
On the imaging side, the Dreampanel Twins reproduces 16.7 million colours with 8-bit control and 14-bit internal processing, plus full colour calibration, so on-stage graphics stay accurate and vivid. The creative side pushes further, blending RGBW across 64 sources to reach up to 25,000 lumens and 1,825,000 candela of luminous intensity, with a virtual colour wheel offering 4.29 billion colour combinations and a range of white-temperature presets. Both sides run on flicker-free sources rated for up to 50,000 hours, and the advanced cooling system with self-adjusting variable-speed fans keeps the 990-watt fixture quiet across auto, stage, and studio ventilation modes — making it a dependable workhorse for touring, broadcast, and large-scale installation alike.
Control is where the Dreampanel Twins truly earns its “twins” name: the video face is driven independently through the HDMI DREAMPANEL HD-BOX controller (compatible with all major media servers and carrying DVI/HDMI ingress), while the MAGICPANEL face, pan, and tilt are managed separately over Art-Net or sACN through the Ethercon RJ45 ports. With RDM-compatible DMX 512, three selectable modes spanning 18 to 272 channels, a local LCD control panel, and a rugged aluminium-and-steel moving-head frame weighing just 23.8 kg, the Ayrton Dreampanel Twins gives lighting designers one fixture that behaves like two — a full HD video wall and a high-output 3D effects engine in a single, road-ready package.
