The GLP JDC1 redefines what a hybrid strobe can be, combining a full face of RGB LED power with a central clear white LED tube in a single award winning fixture. The central tube delivers an incredibly clear and bright white output, perfect for those sharp, high impact strobe hits that make a show come alive, while the large RGB array surrounding it adds a layer of color and versatility that traditional strobes simply cannot match. Both elements are fully independently controllable, so you can run them as separate pieces for distinct effects or blend them together for stunning combined looks. The JDC1 also features an “Aggressive Mode” that pushes the central white tube to even more intense, super bright output at the touch of a button, giving the operator instant access to maximum impact whenever the moment calls for it.
Beyond strobing, the JDC1 functions as a powerful blinder and wash light, with both the tube and the RGB face capable of running continuously for high output sustained effects. The RGB face can be divided into 12 separate pixel sections, and the white tube can be divided into 12 sections as well, allowing the whole array to be fully pixel mapped through any standard controller. This opens up a whole range of creative possibilities, from precise color placement to detailed pixel mapping effects that keep the audience visually engaged between the big strobe moments. The fixture’s flexibility makes it a true workhorse that covers multiple roles on a rig, reducing the number of fixtures needed to achieve a complete effect package.
In terms of movement and handling, the JDC1 features 16 bit pan and tilt with a 185° tilt range, allowing effects to be placed exactly where and when they are needed while maintaining the best possible power and impact on target. The fixture measures approximately 5.9″ x 15.3″ x 9.8″ and weighs just 25.6 lbs, making it easy to hang, fly, or position in tight rigging spaces, and it uses a Powercon True1 connection for secure, reliable power delivery. With its combination of raw strobe power, full RGB color capability, pixel mapping, and precise movement, the JDC1 stands in a class of its own and is a fixture that touring and installation rigs alike can genuinely rely on show after show.
