L-Acoustics 115XT HiQ Speakers

The L-Acoustics 115XT HiQ is a premium, self-contained active loudspeaker engineered for high-demand professional audio applications where reliable, high-density sound reinforcement is required. Built as a fully integrated two-way coaxial system, it houses a 15-inch bass-reflex low-frequency transducer paired with a 3-inch-voice-coil titanium diaphragm compression driver mounted on a constant-directivity conical waveguide. This coaxial architecture keeps the acoustic centers of both drivers perfectly aligned, delivering a coherent, focused soundstage with consistent tonal balance from the listening position all the way out to the edge of the coverage pattern. The HiQ variant elevates the standard 115XT by incorporating L-Acoustics’ LA4 amplification platform and refined digital crossover presets, giving the cabinet cleaner low-end definition, extended headroom, and a wider usable frequency band than its original configuration.

In its full-range operating mode, the 115XT HiQ reproduces a frequency bandwidth from 50 Hz up to 20 kHz, and with the addition of an SB18 subwoofer that lower boundary extends down to 32 Hz for deep, controlled bass impact. The enclosure produces a maximum sound pressure level in the neighborhood of 136.5 to 139.5 dB depending on the selected preset, making it powerful enough to serve as a monitor, a full-range fill, or a complete PA in its own right without external amplification or subwoofer support. Its 80-degree axi-symmetrical coverage ensures even SPL distribution over a wide horizontal arc, which is ideal for stage monitoring, front fill, and compact venue coverage where uniformity matters more than long-throw projection.

Construction and versatility complete the package. The 115XT HiQ uses a rugged, professional-grade enclosure designed to withstand the rigors of constant touring and rental use, with secure mounting points, integrated handles, and a flight-ready cabinet that keeps its alignment and finish through repeated handling. Because it is fully active and self-amplified, setup is fast and requires no external power amplifiers, cabling to a separate amp rack, or complex system tuning, which saves time at load-in and reduces the risk of integration errors. For rental houses, bands, and touring productions, the 115XT HiQ is a dependable all-purpose loudspeaker that performs consistently whether it is placed as a wedge monitor, a PA, or part of a larger array, offering L-Acoustics’ renowned clarity, reliability, and long-term value on the used equipment market.
