The Lab Gruppen FP10000Q is the flagship of Lab.gruppen’s FP+ Series, a four-channel, 2U touring amplifier that pushes the brand’s trademark “all the power, all the time” philosophy to its limit. It delivers a total of 10,000 watts with all four channels driven simultaneously, 2,500 watts per channel into 2 ohms, 2,100 watts into 4 ohms and 1,300 watts into 8 ohms, and the adjacent channels can be bridged for two-channel operation with an automatic -6 dB gain compensation. At its core sits Lab.gruppen’s patented Class TD output stage, a breakthrough topology that approaches the exceptional efficiency of class D while retaining the sonic purity of proven class A/B designs. Supporting that output stage is a Regulated Switch Mode Power Supply, or R.SMPS, which stabilizes the rail voltages to the outputs even when the mains voltage swings widely, a critical feature for tours and installations in any corner of the world.

Lab.gruppen’s proprietary Intercooler system uses thousands of copper fins to multiply the exposed heatsink surface area and rapidly dissipate heat, while all output devices are mounted transverse to the airflow for uniform cooling. Two intelligent front-to-rear fans with temperature-controlled speed add to the efficiency, and the result is a 2U cabinet weighing just 12 kg that can sustain extended peak output with no degradation of sonic performance. Audio performance follows the same standard, with THD under 0.1% across 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 1 watt, under 0.05% at 1 kHz one dB below clipping, a signal-to-noise ratio above 112 dBA, inter-channel crosstalk better than 70 dB at 1 kHz, and a frequency response of 6.8 Hz to 34 kHz within ±3 dB.
