L’Acoustics LA-RAK II AVB is a flyable touring rack that packs twelve channels of high-power amplification into a compact 9U frame, designed to be easier to use, faster to rig, and more economical to transport than a conventional amplifier rack. It is equipped with three LA12X amplified controllers, two LS10 AVB switches, two panels for mains power and signal distribution, and a blank panel, with all devices internally prewired for audio, control, and power. That plug-and-play architecture means the rack arrives on site essentially ready to run, with minimal patching and no last-minute wiring decisions, which translates directly into faster changeovers and a smaller, calmer crew at the load-in.
The LA12X controllers are Milan-certified, giving the rack seamless dual-network AVB redundancy and support for AVB, AES/EBU, and analog inputs, so the system drops cleanly into both modern networked L-Net and L-Net2 deployments as well as legacy analogue rigs. Output power reaches up to 40,000 W at 2.7 ohms, giving it the headroom to drive full L-Acoustics line arrays, fills, and subwoofer sections from a single fly case. Mains is handled through three-phase 32 A IEC in/link connections (30 A NEMA for 110 V markets), and the unit is usable worldwide on 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz, so it travels as easily as the tour does. The 9U frame itself is a rugged dual structure with a rubber shock inner frame, built to protect the amplification, network, and distribution hardware through repeated air and road freight.
