At the heart of the V-Series are the V8 and V12 line array loudspeakers, both high-performance 3-way passive designs. These modules feature two 10-inch neodymium low-frequency drivers in a symmetrical dipolar arrangement, a horn-loaded 8-inch mid-frequency driver, and dual 1.4-inch exit high-frequency compression drivers with 2.5-inch voice coils mounted on a dedicated waveshaping device. This configuration ensures coherent summation, smooth frequency overlap, and outstanding horizontal directivity maintained down to approximately 250 Hz. The V12 specifically provides a nominal 120° horizontal coverage, making it ideal for wider audience areas, while its counterpart offers an 80° pattern for more focused applications. Both support flown vertical arrays of up to 24 cabinets with precise splay angle adjustments.
Engineered for durability and ease of use, the V12 and broader V-Series cabinets are constructed from marine plywood with a robust Polyurea Cabinet Protection finish, complete with integrated rigging hardware that folds out for rapid setup. Their passive design simplifies amplification while delivering impressive maximum SPL levels around 142 dB, with a frequency response extending from 67 Hz upward. When paired with V-SUB cardioid subwoofers, the system achieves full-range, controlled low-end performance.
