The Meyer Sound Mica System is a highly versatile and powerful line array solution designed to deliver exceptional sound quality in a wide range of environments. At the core of the Meyer Sound Mica system is a self-powered, three-way design that includes two 10-inch neodymium low-frequency drivers, one 4-inch voice coil mid-frequency driver, and two 3-inch diaphragm compression drivers for high frequencies. These components are housed in a compact enclosure that offers a frequency range of 60 Hz to 18 kHz and a peak SPL of 138 dB, delivering powerful sound while maintaining clarity and detail. The three-way design ensures that each frequency band is handled with precision, allowing for natural sound reproduction with minimal distortion, even at high volume levels.

The Mica system’s wide horizontal dispersion of 100 degrees ensures even sound coverage across a broad audience area, while the vertical dispersion can be tailored depending on the number of units deployed in the array. This flexibility allows sound engineers to create custom configurations that meet the specific needs of each venue, ensuring consistent coverage from the front row to the back. In larger setups, the Mica system is often complemented by Meyer Sound’s 700-HP or 900-LFC subwoofers, providing additional low-end extension for a full-range audio experience. Each Mica cabinet contains its own Class D amplifier and DSP (digital signal processing) unit, ensuring optimal power distribution and sound shaping in every speaker.
