Meyer Sound 750-LFC

The Meyer Sound 750-LFC is the smallest and lightest of Meyer’s arrayable low-frequency control elements, delivering the sonic linearity of the larger 900-LFC and 1100-LFC in a compact 21.8-inch cabinet that weighs just 89 lbs (40.3 kg) without rigging. At its heart is a single 15-inch, dual-voice coil, long-excursion cone driver with a 2-ohm nominal impedance, faithfully reproducing source material across the entire low-frequency spectrum with extremely low distortion and an optimized phase response. The operating frequency range is 35 Hz to 125 Hz, with a measured response of 37 Hz to 110 Hz within ±4 dB, and the cabinet is capable of a linear peak SPL of 130.5 dB at 4 meters when driven with M-noise. This means the 750-LFC can push deep, clean, continuous bass that punches far beyond what its footprint suggests, making it ideal wherever space is at a premium, whether on tour or in a fixed installation.

What truly sets the Meyer Sound 750-LFC apart is its self-powered design. A newly engineered two-channel, open-loop Class D amplifier is mounted on a single field-replaceable module, delivering discrete, precisely synchronized power to each voice coil with a total peak output of 3,100 watts and distortion figures below 0.02% for THD, IM, and TIM. This high-efficiency design keeps power consumption and operating temperatures low while maintaining exceptional transient response and low-frequency clarity. Setup is effortless: no amp racks, no long cable runs, and no gain or crossover calibration required. Input is a simple differential, electronically balanced XLR, with an optional 5-pin connection for RMS remote monitoring, and the powerCON 20 loop-out lets you chain units along with the rest of your system.

Integration and rigging options make the 750-LFC one of the most flexible subs in the lineup. It pairs seamlessly with LINA, ULTRA, and LEOPARD series systems, extending their response down to 36 Hz for deeper, richer bass with total control. With the optional MRK-750 rigging kit, its captive GuideALinks allow flying directly from the MG-MINA/LINA grid without a transition frame, and it can be configured in ground-stacked, flown, or cardioid arrays with variable splay angles of 0°, 1.5°, 3.25°, or 4.75°. The integral pole mount supports one or two LINAs on top for streamlined rigs, and the optional MCF-750 caster frame plus protective covers make stacks road-ready. The cabinet is built from premium multi-ply birch with a textured black finish and a powder-coated hex-stamped steel grille, and system design, corrective EQ, and fine-tuning are fully supported through Meyer’s MAPP 3D and Galileo GALAXY tools.
