Meyer Sound Leopard

The Meyer Sound Leopard is a compact, self-powered linear line array loudspeaker engineered to deliver exceptional clarity, high output, and extremely low distortion in a relatively small and lightweight package. Designed to sit in the middle of Meyer Sound’s line array family (between LEO-M/LYON and smaller systems like LINA), Leopard brings large-system sound quality into small-to-medium venues, touring rigs, and versatile installations. Its internal Class-D amplification and sophisticated onboard processing provide a linear response across a wide dynamic range, meaning it reproduces everything from delicate speech and acoustic music to full-on rock with fidelity and punch.

What makes Leopard particularly notable is its power-to-size ratio and rigging flexibility. The system’s narrow profile and manageable weight make it easier to transport and rig compared to older, larger line array elements, while still offering high peak SPL (around 142 dB) and broad frequency response (~55 Hz–18 kHz). Leopard cabinets are available in different horizontal dispersion options — typically the standard 110° and the tighter 80° “LEOPARD-M80” variant — giving designers control over how sound is projected in different spaces and array configurations.

Leopard integrates smoothly with Meyer Sound’s ecosystem of system design and control tools, including Galileo GALAXY processors and MAPP prediction software, allowing accurate system tuning and monitoring in complex deployments. It can serve as the main line array in mid-sized systems, as well as downfill, sidefill, or outfill in larger LEO-M/LYON systems, making it a highly scalable solution for theaters, clubs, houses of worship, corporate AV, and touring productions.
